This page takes you to the latest versions of status reports that you receive by e-mail or can generate from the legislature’s website if you have a PLT account.
Status of Bills
These pages show the contents of the PLT: Status of Bills e-mail as of Friday evening. (These e-mails are sent out every evening.) This is the status of all bills introduced since Day One up to the date on the e-mail. You get this e-mail if you have a paid PLT account. For those who don’t, here is a PDF file (sorry, WordPress won’t accept text files, and this beast is too many pages long to show here):
PLT- Status of Bills for 5:22:2017 This one should show the active bills correctly

All bills in the governor’s office
All bills that became law
All bills vetoed by the governor
Status of Budgets
These pages show the contents of the PLT: Status of Budgets e-mail as of Friday evening. (These too are sent out every evening.) This is the status of all bills introduced since Day One up to the date on the e-mail. You get this e-mail if you have a paid PLT account. For those who don’t, here is a PDF file (sorry, WordPress won’t accept text files, and this beast is too many pages long to show here):
Status of Legislation
These pages show the contents of the Status of Legislation report that you can generate from NELIS if you have a PLT account.
For those who don’t have a PLT account, here is a PDF file:
CURRENT BILLS (passed out of committee or exempted from deadline):
NOTE: as of this week the LCB has changed the format of of this report, and also made it exportable in many file formats. You have many more reasons now to get your own PLT account. I can post only PDF files, not Word or Excel or anything else (WordPress does not let me) so if you want one of those, send me an e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
DEAD BILLS (failed to pass out of committee by the deadline). This is the same report but filtered to show only dead bills.
List of Bills Approved by Committees
This page show the list of the list of bills that have been reported out of their respective committees with a recommendation of “Do Pass.” This list is compiled since opening day on Feb. 6, and is updated every night from the contents of the PLT: Bill Committee Report Notification (bill no.) e-mails received by the end of the day.
The contents of this list is similar to Status Of Legislation, but it includes only the bills that were reported out of committee with a “Do Pass.”
It does NOT include bills that survived the deadline because a committee decided to exempt them (postpone their vote on the bill until sometime after the deadline) because the committees have NOT yet voted them out with a “Do Pass” and still might not do so.
Again this list is growing and will be rather long. Please click on the link to see the list. AFTER THE DEADLINE, I THINK THESE ARE THE BILLS ON WHICH WE SHOULD CONCENTRATE OUR COMMENTS.
NOTE: Some of these are bills we opposed. Don’t give up the fight; the entire Assembly or Senate must still pass them, therefore there is still time to lobby those legislators.
